Proskene invited us to join them in the Construction Supervision for the consolidation of the roof of the Iglesia de la Calandria in La Granja de San Ildefonso, Segovia, Spain.

The Church is a neo-Gothic style building from the second half of the 19th century, with a basilica floor plan, a bell tower at the foot of the nave, an adjoining volume at the opposite end, an elevated presbitery with an apsidal vault and a choir at the end of the nave.

The roof had numerous leaks that had damaged the polychromed wooden king-post trusses of the roof.

The intervention consisted in the reparation of the structure, in some cases by the replacement of the wooden corbels and the consolidation of the mansards behind the apse of the church.
